Special activities include Apple Race, Pirate Day and an Evening Sail.

Adventure Sailing

*NOTE: Adventure Sailing is for intermediate level sailors and above, who love sailing and being on the water - but are not interested in learning how to race. Adventure Sailors will learn to skipper/steer different types of boats, tie knots, rig, de-rig, and dock their boats. Activities may also include swimming and other water-related activities.

Advanced/Racing

Prerequisite: SCC Sail School Permission - for seasoned sailors only.
The class trains sailors, using short course buoy racing, to develop tactical, race and boat handling skills. Weekly regattas and some weekend racing opportunities are available to qualified members of the racing team. Being placed in the advanced classes does not guarantee participation in all regattas.

*Note: Additional costs may include regatta registrations and US SAILING membership for racing participants.

Spring/Fall Sailing

After school and Saturday small-group lessons, focused on racing for our advanced level sailors. Intermediate sailors who are moving into advanced classes this summer may benefit from these sessions as well. Flexible classes – sailors can drop in for a class, or sign up for the entire session.
